Gasp! Ewwwww!

They're better to look at on the counter than on your thighs.
It never ceases to amaze me how everything had style back in the day. Not my day, but in ol' Gramp's day. Attention to design was paid to every product, no matter how mundane. Not to mention advertising gems like, "With a flavor you'll favor!"

Ahhhh! But you cannot say you have truely lived until you've tried a tender flaky piecrust made with real white lard. Seriously. NOTHING compares!
Man, I really miss my grandmother's cooking.
I actually saw a blurb on a popular cooking show explaining how lard is actually healthier for your body than the partially-hydrogenated-man-made substitutes.
Grandmothers are right about a lot of things.
It's so true, back in the day people were just so dang stylish!!
